Summer Workshop: Truth, Power, and the Foundations of Democracy

Truth, Power, and the Foundations of Democracy

What role should truth have in a just and democratic society? How important are claims to truth for resisting unjust social practices? Can democracies effectively handle problems related to misinformation and limited information?

Truth, Power, and the Foundations of Democracy was an interdisciplinary project aimed at addressing these questions, and related ones.

The project was co-organized by J. Russell Muirhead (Dartmouth Government) and David Plunkett (Dartmouth Philosophy).
